The ISAPS Fellowship Program offers successful applications a highly valuable 3-month training opportunity. Its primary goal is to provide advanced clinical education in aesthetic surgery.
This program is open to all ISAPS Resident* and Associate Members only.*Residents must be in their final 2 years of training at the time of applying
The intention is to deliver intensive training in a broader field of aesthetic surgery and the structure of such a teaching program is entirely up to the expert and local host. Therefore each location's experience is unique.
The fellowship can offer hands-on experience in certain cases, with scrubbing in when possible, but this is not guaranteed and will depend on various factors such as the case, the indication, a fellow's experience/skills, and the rules set by the medical authorities in each country. Even without hands-on experience, we are convinced that the exposure to different aspects of plastic surgery in this fellowship program will be unsurpassed and hard to come by in any other setting.
Please make sure you research your chosen location preferences properly before applying, this includes meeting visa requirements, and ensuring you are able to cover all travel and living costs.
Please note, if you are successful and accept a fellowship, you agree to the following:
The Fellowship and the Fellow hereby agree to jointly and severely release, defend and hold harmless the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) from any claims, whether first-party or third party claims, related in any fashion to the Fellowship or to the Fellow, including but not limited to claims related to hiring, employment, compensation, supervision and/or malpractice.
